One of the must-visit places on the island, Corfu Town offers something for everyone. Winery tour at Theotoky Estate
If you are a fan of wine and wine tasting then this is definitely something for you. Featuring a 20 minute tour of of the winery facilities and cellar with a detailed description of the wine and olive oil production. The tour concludes with a tasting of the Estate’s wines.
Paxos / Antipaxos - Blue Caves
Paxos and antipaxos are two small islands located south of Corfu, Untouched by mass tourism they feature a beautiful rocky coastline and vast amounts of greenery, and are perfect for anyone with a taste for natural beauty and tranquility. The tour also features visiting two breath-taking caves with crystal clear turquise waters.
The Achilleion Palace, located in in the magnificent village of Gastouri and built in 1890 for the former Empress of Austria, princess Elizabeth (Sisi), now serves as one of Corfu’s most famed tourist attractions, featuring a mesmerizing interior and a picturesque open garden featuring statues of the Ancient Greek panteon as well as a giant bronze statue of Achilles on whose honor the palace is dedicated to.
The monastery resides on a green hill above Paleokastritsa beach, on the northwest site of the island. This large Monastery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary (Panagia), and dominated the whole region, giving a gorgeous view of the island and the sea.
One of the most magnificent beaches on Corfu, this idyllic area is definitely a must-visit. Along the sandy beach you will find plenty of tourist facilities such as a kiosk and sunbeds, a watersports center which accomodated greatly to anyone that loves windsurfing and kitesurfing as Issos Beach gets loads of wind exposure.
